Remove the fans

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.

“Remove the lower case” on page 30

“Remove the memory module mylar” on page 35

“Remove the heat sink” on page 37

Step 1. Disconnect the fan cables from the system board. Remove four screws and then remove the fans.
