A Password Problem
Problem:
I forgot my password.
Solution:
• If you forgot your user password, you must take your
computer to a Lenovo authorized servicer or a
marketing representative to have the password
canceled.
• If you forgot your HDD password, Lenovo authorized
servicer cannot reset your password or recover data
from the hard disk. You must take your computer to a
Lenovo authorized servicer or a marketing
representative to have the hard disk drive replaced.
Proof of purchase is required, and an additional fee may
be charged for parts and service.
• If you forget your supervisor password, Lenovo
authorized servicers cannot reset your password. You
must take your computer to a Lenovo authorized
servicer or a marketing representative to have the
system board replaced. Proof of purchase is required,
and an additional fee may be charged for parts and
service.
