Section 1 Installation
Measure the pipe length from the primary gas pressure
regulator to the pipe connection on the generator set
fuel inlet. Add 2.4 m (8 ft.) to the measured length for
each 90 degree elbow. Compare the total pipe length
with the chart in Figure 1-13 or Figure 1-14 to find
required pipe size.
Contact local LP provider for LP installation information.

1.7 Fuel Conversion
The multi-fuel system allows conversion from natural
gas to LP vapor (or vice-versa) in the field while
maintaining emissions-standard compliance. A trained
technician or a Lennox dealer can convert the fuel
system.
Accidental starting.
Can cause severe injury or death.
Disconnect the battery cables before
working
on
the
generator
set.
Remove the negative (--) lead first
when
disconnecting
the
battery.
Reconnect the negative (--) lead last
when reconnecting the battery.
WARNING
Disabling the generator set.
Accidental starting can
cause severe injury or death.
Before working on the
generator set or connected equipment, disable the generator
set as follows: (1) Move the generator set master switch to the
OFF position. (2) Disconnect the power to the battery charger.
(3) Remove the battery cables, negative (--) lead first.
Reconnect the negative (--) lead last when reconnecting the
battery. Follow these precautions to prevent starting of the
generator set by an automatic transfer switch, remote
start/stop switch, or engine start command from a remote
computer.
Explosive fuel vapors.
Can cause severe injury or death.
Use extreme care when handling,
storing, and using fuels.
