4.2
Socket
The tractor must be equipped with a 3-pin plug socket as per
DIN 9680 for the power supply.
The optional battery-connection cable can be directly fitted to
the battery of the tractor, where necessary.
4.3
Operating voltage and power supply
The electronic control unit is run on an operating voltage of 12 volts – with a tolerance range
between 10 and 15 volts.
Voltages above and below this value may cause malfunctions and, under certain circum-
stances, this may destroy the electronic utilities. Furthermore, a power supply protection of at
least 25 A must be ensured.
The electronic control unit has a terminal and a job computer. The terminal must be located in
the tractor cabin within the reach and view of the driver; the job calculator is in the device.
The terminal must be disconnected from the voltage supply:
after working with the device,
before switching off the device for an extended period.
