If crop remains in the middle behind the machine (fig. 15), the top
link must be shortened until the crop is picked up properly.
If the crop is not picked up properly on the sides (fig. 16), the top link
must be extended and the height adjustment or cam track must be
corrected.
Thanks to the steering device, it is possible to make turns with the
HIBISCUS rake that are nearly as just as sharp as those made with a
trailed machine.
- If the machine is lifted in a bend, it will swing to the central
position automatically.
- Ensure that no-one is near the machine and that no
obstacles can be hit.
5.2
Forward speed and PTO speed
Select a forward speed and PTO output (450-500 r.p.m., max.
540 r.p.m.) that ensures a good clean swath.
If the rotor speed is too high, the tines may release the crop too late.
As a result, lumps of material will be scattered behind the machine.
If this occurs, reduce the PTO speed.
Lower the forward speed when the clutch is engaged due to
overload.
