Adjust the Deflection of the Rotors
Procedure
1.
Park the Lotus on a level floor.
2.
Place an elevation of approximately 4 cm (1.57 in) under the four
central rotor wheels.
3.
Move the Lotus to the working position (page 3
4.
Make sure the Lotus is level.
5.
Verify the adjustment of the deflection points on the adjustment-bar on
both sides of the Lotus:
a.
Unlock the locking-nut to release the tension on the adjustment-
bar
b.
Secure the locking-nut after releasing the tension on the
adjustment-bar.
6.
Verify the adjustment of the deflection points at the front and rear side
on both sides of the Lotus:
a.
Unlock the locking nuts to release the tension on the stop bolts.
b.
Make sure the stop bolts slightly touch the stops.
c.
Secure stop bolts by means of counter nuts.
7.
Place an elevation of approximately 4 cm (1.57 in) under the next
deflection point.
8.
Adjust the next outer deflection point, go to step 6.
9.
Remove all elevations at the deflection points.
