12. Check from the front to back any for loose bolts. Adjust the handlebar position. 

Adjust the stem to be straight with the front wheel. [Also check to make sure your 

cabling is flowing correctly. The cables should not be wound around one another]

13.Install the saddle to the seat post using the 6m allen tool. [Much easier to do by 

removing the seat post]

14. Apply a bit of grease to the seat post and use the 5m allen tool to tighten the 

seat post clamp. Check to make sure the saddle angle is correct. 15. Check from the 

front to the back checking for loose bolts. Tighten all bolts. Adjust the handlebar 

position. Adjust the stem to be straight with the front wheel. (Also check to make 

sure your cabling is flowing correctly. The cables should not be wound around one 

another.)

15. Locate the pedals and bell. Pedals have a left and right because the threads are 

different.  The right pedal threads standard righty tighty. The left pedal threads op-

posite, lefty tighty.

16. Be sure to grease the pedals before installation and use the 15m spanner to 

make nice and tight.

17. Remove plastic from the front and rear lights to allow the batteries to power / 

function properly.

18. Using the 10m spanner, dial the brake pads and caliper to make sure the pads 

are seated properly, spaced evenly from the rim surface, and make sure the pads are 

not touching the tyre.

19. Double check the gearing system is aligned properly by putting the shifter into 

gear 4 and look into the rear hub window. [Please see drivetrain manual to under-

stand how your gearing system works and how to maintain. Available as download 

on our website]

20. Inflate tyres [65 PSI/4.5 Bar max, this can be checked by looking at the sidewall 

of the tyre]

21. ble check from the front to the rear of the bicycle. Check every bolt to make sure 

there are no loose parts shaking around and that everything looks straight.
