Insert 9 V battery into compartment on rear side of device
Note: Disconnect the telephone-line before opening battery compartment. This is to avoid contact
with dangerous telephone network voltage!

Plug the AC-adapter into mains socket and then into the

Plug-in either the landline telephone cord 3a or your mobile connection cord 3b, never both cords
at the same time.
3a) Land line mode: (all models): Plug enclosed cord into

and into the wall outlet:
UK: Using the delivered cord.
US/Spain/Portugal: using RJ11-cord directly.
Other: using country specific telephone adapter

Set function switch to PROG and enter desired telephone number using keypad
