Chapter 3: Operation

PCM and Non-PCM Processing

On the AS-3901-B and -C modules, the AESxFormat parameters
provide the ability to select either PCM or Non-PCM as input formats.
When PCM is selected, the following input sources are available
selections for each OutxSrc parameter:
•

AES1a

•

AES1b

•

AES2a

•

AES2b

•

Mute

•

AES1 Sum

•

AES2 Sum

However, if Non-PCM is selected for one of the AESxFormat
parameters, its summation (AESxSum) is not a valid selection. For
example, if AES2Format is set to Non-PCM, AES2Sum is not a valid
