Motion Control
For the list of all commands supported by the DVR-3901, please refer
to
DVR-3901 Automation Control Developer’s Manual . In BVW/
Odetics mode, the DVR supports most of the Sony BVW-75 VTR
commands and Odetics extension. In playlist mode, apart from the
transport commands, it adds the command extension to support
directory listing, title setting and playlist creation, chase mode, loop
recording, frame grab and loop playback.
Both BVW/Odetics mode and Playlist mode support the following
basic control commands.
ACK / NAK
The tables following often refer to an ACK or NAK. The recorder
returns an ACK (acknowledge) or NAK (negative acknowledge) for
commands that do not return a specific response containing, for
example, time code or status information. There are different forms of a
NAK for different communication errors.
