Operational condition
• Before putting into operation, check
power supply cord (2)
and connector as well as extension cable for electrical
and mechanical damage.
• Check the nozzle’s basic setting

• Hook the

onto the ground plate

Connect tool to rated voltage
Rated voltage
stated on the device must correspond to line/mains voltage.
• Switch the device on with the
main switch (17)

hot-air blower (3)
starts automatically.
• Deactivate the accidental start-up protection by pressing button on the
keyboard (18)

Important: undervoltage
If the maximum temperature is not reached, reduce the volume of air with the
manual air slide (14)

Perform a test welding according to the welding instructions of the material manufacturer and the
national standards or guidelines. Check the test welding. Adapt the welding temperature (welding
parameters) as required.
Operating Instructions
Positioning device
•
Raise the
hot-air blower (3)
with the
swivel lever (19)
as high as it will go. The ball press screw of the
transportation safety device for the hot-air blower (16)
must lock in place.
• Position the welding machine on the overlap of the material to be welded. To do this, the external edge of the
drive/pressure roller (6)
and the
guide roller (20)
must fit with the overlap edge of the welding material
