Rugby 100-1.5.0en
The Laser Emission, Low
Battery and Manual Mode
Indicators are flashing
sequentially. (Out of Level
Indication)
The Rugby 100 has reached a servo limit or is
outside of its self-leveling range.
• In automatic mode the Rugby 100 must be set
up within ± 5° of its upright position to be within
the self-leveling range.
• Reposition the Rugby. If the LED’s continue to
flash, turn off the Rugby and try again.
The Laser Emission, Low
Battery and Manual Mode
Indicators are all on. (Out
of Temperature Range)
The internal temperature has exceeded its
operating temperature range of –4° to 122°F (-
20° to 50°C).
• Move the laser out of direct sunlight or shield it.
• Allow the Rugby to cool and it will automatically
begin operation.
The Low Battery Warning
Indicator is on.
The battery charge is low or dead.
• See symptom #1 above.
• See explanation of LED indicator functions.
The Rugby’s distance is
reduced.
Dirt is reducing the output of the laser.
• Clean the windows on the Rugby and the Rod-
Eye receiver to improve performance.
The Rod-Eye receiver is
not functioning properly.

Check for proper operation.
• The Rugby is not rotating. It is leveling or in
elevation alert.
• The power or audio feature is not active on the
Rod-Eye.
• The Rod-Eye is out of usable range.
• The Rod-Eye’s batteries are dead or low.
