Intended Use of the Product
Permitted Use:

The detector is intended to be used to detect a rotating laser beam.
Adverse Uses:
•
Use of the detector without instructions
•
Use outside of the intended limits
•
Opening the detector using tools (screwdriver, ect.)
•
Modification or conversion of the detector.
Limits of Use
The detector is suitable for use in an atmosphere appropriate for per-
manent human habitation. It cannot be used in an aggressive or explo-
sive environment. See “Technical Data.”
Areas of responsibility
Responsibilities of the manufacturer of the original equipment Leica
Geosystems AG, CH-9435 Heerbrugg (for short Leica Geosystems):
Leica Geosystems is responsible for supplying the product, including
the User Manual in a completely safe condition.
Leica Geosystems is not responsible for third party accessories.
Responsibilities of the person in charge of the detector:
The person in charge of the detector has the following duties:

To understand the safety instructions on the product and the in-
structions in the User Manual. To be familiar with local safety regu-
lations relating to accident prevention.

To be familiar with local regulations relating to accident prevention.
Warranty – 12 months
Leica Geosystems AG warrants to the original end user that this detec-
tor will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal
use, and providing any and all operating and maintenance instructions
are strictly respected.
The International Warranty can be downloaded from http://www.leica-
geosystems.com/internationalwarranty or received from your Leica
Geosystems dealer.
