Check the histogram settings. The histogram should
spread across the middle of the field. Ensure that
the black/white points do not restrict the histogram.
Repeat the white balance procedure.
Reset the white balance to start from the defined
factory setting by selecting “Reset” from the White
balance menu.
Adjust the color settings by eye using the "Check
Color" tool.
Check the microscope settings
Ensure that the eyepiece fits snugly around
the eye.
Check the histogram settings. Adjust the
settings so that the histogram spreads across
the middle of the field. Ensure that the
black/white points do not restrict the histogram.
Adjust the illumination.
Check the Gain setting. If you increase the Gain
setting, you should expect an increase in noise. If
you reduce the Gain setting, you should increase the
exposure time by way of compensation.
