Notes:
- In motion detection mode, you cannot use copy/paste to set channel setup since the video in each channel
may not be the same.
- To activate motion detection go to MAIN MENU -> SETTING -> SCHEDULE and select “MD” or “MD Alarm” for
“Channel” and “Period”.
2) Video Loss
In Detect menu, select “Video Loss” from the type list. You can see the interface below. This function allows you
to be informed when video loss phenomenon occurred. You can enable alarm output channel and then enable
show message function.
Tips:
You can enable preset activation when video loss occurs.
Refer to “Motion Detection” functions for detailed information.
3) Camera Masking
When someone viciously masks the lens, or the output video is in one-color due to the environments light chan-
ge, the system can alert you to guarantee video continuity.

Note:
In Detect interface, copy/paste function is only valid for the same type, which means you cannot copy a channel
setup in video loss mode to camera masking mode.
