Connecting Three Analyzers with DB-9 Sync Ports
The
following
example
shows
how
to
daisy
‐
chain
3
analyzers
with
DB
‐
9
sync
ports.
To
do
so
perform
the
following
steps:
This
configuration
requires
two
DB
‐
9
sync
cable.
1. Make
sure
to
stop
any
recordings
in
progress.
Note:
You
may
plug/unplug
the
sync
cable
while
the
analyzer
unit
is
powered
on.
2. Connect
the
female
end
of
the
first
sync
cable
to
the
SYNC
OUT
port
of
the
first
analyzer.
3. Connect
the
male
end
of
the
first
sync
cable
to
the
SYNC
IN
port
of
the
second
analyzer.
4. Connect
the
female
end
of
the
second
sync
cable
to
the
SYNC
OUT
port
of
the
second
analyzer.
5. Connect
the
male
end
of
the
second
sync
cable
to
the
SYNC
IN
port
of
the
third
analyzer.
