SECTION 01:
INTENDED USE
Intended use
The Bathing Supports are intended
to support children and young adults
who have mild to complex postural
needs that disrupt the ability to sit
without external support. All devices
are intended to be used within a bath
or shower to facilitate personal care.
Indications for use
Advance Bath Chair is for use in the
bath or the shower if used with a
Shower Trolley. Advance Bath Chair is
intended for children with disabilities
from the age of 1 to 18 years old
who may have a lack of trunk control
or excessive muscle tension due to
conditions such as cerebral palsy and
or those who are unable to support
themselves during the bathing
process. Advance Bath Chair has a
maximum user weight of 72kgs on
all sizes.
The Advance Bath Chair is classified
as a Class I Medical Device under
EU and UK regulations. As the
manufacturer, James Leckey Design
Limited, declares that this product
conforms to the Medical Device
Regulation (2017/745), UK Medical
Device Regulations 2002, Medial
SECTION 02:
CERTIFICATION
Device Directive (93/42 EEC) and
EN 12182:2012 Assistive products
for persons with disability, general
requirements and test methods.

• Never use the
RAP on uneven
ground. Its intended use is
