6. Disconnect the kettle from Mains electricity supply.
7. Do not open the lid whilst pouring as the hot stem or hot water
may splash on your hand.
8. If necessary, it will take you 5 minutes to wait for before you
press the switch again to re-boil the water.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before commencing to clean your Jug Kettle, ensure that the Mains
power supply is switched OFF and the power cord is removed from
the appliance. Wait until the appliance is at room temperature
before commencing to clean it.
1. Never immerse the appliance into water, or allow moisture to
contact with it.
2. When it is necessary, the exterior surfaces may be cleaned
with a soft damp cloth. Never use any chemical or abrasive
solution to clean your kettle.
3. To clean the interior of your kettle, use a food-grade descaling
compound manufactured for this purpose, such as citric acid.
