Master Functions
This section describes the master functions which appear on DisplayDock and/or control surface: global alarm
indicator, system clock, timer, telephone call signaling for hybrid sources and mic open indicator.
8.11.1
Global Alarm
On DisplayDock, a global
ALARM
indicator appears if any of the individual alarm states is active.
Select the
ALARM
indicator to open the
page - under "TEMPERATURE & FAN ALARMS" you will be
able to see which alarms are active.
The global
ALARM
indicator disappears once all active alarm states are either resolved or acknowledged on the
"Advanced" page.
8.11.2
System Clock & Timer
DisplayDock includes both a system clock and count-up/count-down timer.
By default, the clock appears (big) with the timer (small). However, the functions can be reversed by clicking on
the smaller of the two elements:
Clock (big) and Timer (small)
Timer (big) and Clock (small)
8.11.3
System Clock
The system clock shows the internal date and time running on the Compact Engine. This can be set using SoP
Explorer (as described
).
The time is given using a 24 hour digital clock where hours and minutes appear in white and seconds in blue. In
our first example on the left, the current time is 11 hours, 49 minutes and 03 seconds. For greater visibility, the
"seconds" are also represented by the blue line/circle around the circumference of the display.
