GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING
■ Remove the gasket (Fig. 11). Insert the sharp-nose plier into the slots of the clutch and rotate it
counter-clockwise to remove the clutch, and then remove the clutch washer (Fig. 11 & 13).

■ Rotate the quincunx wrench counter-clockwise to remove the 4 screws on the front engine cover
(Fig. 14). Release the stop switch cables from the notch as shown in Fig. 15. Then carefully remove
the front engine cover assembly to show the flywheel and the ignition coil, and disconnect the
terminals of stop switch cables from the ignition coil. Remove the front engine cover assembly
(Fig. 15 & 16).
