USB 2.0 Hard Drive Enclosure for IDE drives

The Kazan Hard Drive Enclosure ships complete with a USB
2.0 to IDE controller card, a switching power supply, one IDE
cable, one USB cable, and (North America only) a power
supply cable (IDE hard drive purchased separately).
Note: 7200 RPM drives are recommended for maximum
throughput.

Compatible with ATA/ATAPI (IDE) hard drive

1. Connect the IDE cable and internal power cable to

the hard drive. Insert the IDE hard drive into the
Kazan enclosure.

2. Replace the Kazan enclosure cover and secure it with

four screws.

3. Connect a power cable to your assembled drive, and plug

into any wall outlet.

4. Finally, attach the supplied USB cable to your computer’s

USB port (USB 2.0 recommended).
