PVR Func�on
The PVR func�o n allows you to record and replay your favorite programs.
There are two ways to record your TV programs:
Instant Recording and Timer Schedule recording.
Before you record a program , yo u will need to connect an USB flash drive or external hard driv e to the
converter box first. Th e maximum capacity of HDD you can connect i s up to 2TB. (USB flash drive and
external hard drive are sold separately)
Please note that due to buffer speed requirement som e USB flash drive may not compa�bl e whe n used
with the Timer func�on.
1 . Instant Recording
Press th e REC key to start recording th e current TV program that you are watching. The
recording clock should be displayed on the top le� hand side of the screen. Press info key to
view informa�on of th e recording. Press STOP key to stop th e current recording.
2. Timer Schedule Recording
You will not miss any o f your favorit e programs with the Timer Schedule Recording feature.
Op�on 1: On TV mode, press EPG key to ope n the Electronics Program Guide, select the
channels and program you wish to record. Press OK key to confirm the selec�on. A schedule
Event window will appear on the screen. Select and set the correct parameters to schedul e the
recording. Se t th e mode op�on to record . This program will be automa�cally recorded at the
schedule �me.
Op�on 2: P ress the Timer key on th e remote to enter the schedule Event Menu and press
number 1 key to add a recording schedule.
You can edit the set �mer recording in the schedul e Event Menu by press the number 2 key .
Then edit the channel number, name date, start �me and end �me. Select th e op�o n of Once,
Daily, Week recording as desire.
If you need to delet
e a schedule recording, you can press the number 3 key in the schedule
Event Menu.
Play your recorded programs (US B Key Func�on)
You can play the program that you record by pressing the USB key o n th e remote. Mak e sur e you
connect the USB Flash drive or Hard Drive to the converter box first.
1 . Select PVR in the menu, yo u will see th e window open for th e USB driv e that you connect.
2 . Go to folder HBPVR an d press OK, you will see th e list of video that yo u recorded.
3 . Select the video that want to play and press OK. You will see the smal l preview window on
the right hand side.
4 . Press Hold Key to change to full screen.
5 . Press STOP, PAUSE or EXIT if you don’t want to stop, pause or quit the video.
