4.5.
Hydraulic body tipping mechanism
The hydraulic body tipping mechanism raises the front of the body. It is lowered by releasing pressure
in the system: the force of the weight of the body squeezes lubricant from the hydraulic cylinder. Power to the
body tipping hydraulic cylinder is supplied from the hydraulic system of the tractor (Fig. 1).
4.6.
Pump of PTL-V
PTL-V tank semitrailer can be equipped with two types of pumps:
Centrifugal;
Vacuum-rotary.
Pumps are powered by PTO shafts or by hydraulic motor. PTL-V tank can be without its own pump.
4.7.
Hydraulic tailgate lifting mechanism
The hydraulic tailgate lifting mechanism raises the tailgate. It is lowered by releasing pressure in the
system (the force of the weight of the gate squeezes lubricant from the hydraulic cylinder), or forcedly. Power
to the hydraulic tailgate lifting mechanism is supplied from the hydraulic system of the tractor (Fig. 1).
4.8.
Warning light signalling
The electricity system of the tractor semi-trailer is adapted to operation together with the direct 12 V
current electricity system of the tractor.
