View/Reset Message Log
The Message Log contains all relevant position messages that have been stored locally. There are two
operations that can be performed on the position message log: viewing and clearing. Viewing the
messages will display all logged position messages that have not been transmitted successfully.
Deleting (Resetting) the log will clear any untransmitted position messages.
Deleting the log cannot be
undone. The user should verify that this operation is required before performing it.
5.2.
System Check and Diagnosis
There are three internal diagnostic checks (Test Satcom, Test GPS, Test Mainboard) that can be
performed on the S100. Accessing the appropriate menu option will begin these internal self-tests.
