Key readout.

The key should be applied to the reader, at the same time moving it onto the reader

edge and pressing slightly. The controller reads the key’s serial number and compares

with the numbers stored in memory. If the read number matches one of the

programmed numbers, the controller opens the electrocatch or electromagnetic lock

for a period of time specified during the programming (standard time is approx. 5s),

signaling the door opening with four short sound signals and by putting out the

illuminated LED (this diode is not seen on the outside of the conversational cassette).

If the key used does not authorize to unlock the entry, this status shall be signaled

with a series of short sound signals and by blinking of a LED diode; the electromagnetic

valve or electrocatch shall not be activated.

Defining the MASTER key.

The master key is used for adding and removing users, for programming the door

opening time and for reader blocking. Only one key of the MASTER type can be

defined in the reader. Together with granting authorization of the MASTER type key,

one can program the time of electrocatch opening. In order to program a master

type key, one has to perform the following actions:

1. Turn on the device’s power supply.

2. Tighten the MASTER armament on the reader plate (e.g. by setting up a jumper)

3. Apply the key which shall be awarded with MASTER authorizations to the reader;

remembering the new key shall be confirmed by the reader by a short sound signal.

4. If the lock opening time (described in the next paragraph) shall not be modified,

remove the MASTER armament.

Opening time programming

The reader allows for programming the electrocatch opening time, standard value

of this time is 1s. The time can be adjusted within the range of 1...10s, and its

programming is performed along with the MASTER key definition procedure.

Programming the time of electromagnetic lock opening is performed with the use

of the door opening button, if it is not used for terminals Z+, 4 one should connect

any short-circuit button.

In order to modify the electrocatch operation time, one should perform the following
