HOW TO DISARM THE IMMOBILISER
USING THE “EMERGENCY CODE”
If all the ELECTRONIC KEYS do not work correctly or have
been lost, to disarm the immobiliser you must insert the
“
EMERGENCY CODE
” as follows:
1)
With the immobiliser ON, turn ON the ignition key
2)
The RED LED is steady ON for 10".
3)
When the RED LED switches OFF again, turn OFF the
ignition key within 2". Otherwise, if You leave the
ignition key to ON position, the LED will flash ON and
OFF alternatively.
4)
Now on the LED will flash and the immobiliser is ready
to accept the PIN CODE. If not interrupted, the LED will
flash 11 times.
Turn ON for 1 second the ignition key
after
the LED have displayed the flashes corresponding
to each digit of the PIN CODE, red on personal card from
left to right. For better understanding, see the picture 1.
EXAMPLE:
the code to be inserted is
5 6 0 5 4
. Wait
5 flashes for the first digit. After the fifth flash has been
completed and the LED has turned OFF, immediately
turn ON the ignition key for 1". After a pause, the LED
will flash the next digit of the PIN CODE ;
6
in this
example.
For the 0 digit, the flashes to be completed on
the LED are 10.
Continue until all the digits have been
displayed.
If the inserted CODE is correct, the immobiliser
will disarm itself
and automatically will enter into the
"SELF-LEARNING PROCEDURE", signalling this condition
by LED ON for 10" . After that, if the learning procedure
will not open, the LED will remain OFF, without
displaying the PIN CODE.
If the inserted CODE is
wrong, the immobiliser will remain ON.

a)
Deactivate the immobiliser by an ELECTRONIC KEY.
b)
Turn ignition key to ON position.
c)
Insert one of the ELECTRONIC KEYS into the plug.
d)
Maintaining the KEY into the plug, turn OFF the
ignition key.
e)
Remove the ELECTRONIC KEY from the plug.
f)
Check if the LED is steady ON, as indication of the
beginning of LEARNING PROCEDURE.
g) Within 10" ,
insert into the plug a new ELECTRONIC
KEY, followed by the old ones (if available).
Each
KEY learning is signalled by a short pause of
the LED.
h) When the 10" from the last learning are
elapsed, the immobiliser exits from the proce-
dure and displays the EMERGENCY CODE (PIN
CODE) via LED.
i)
After having note the PIN CODE on a personal card,
verify that the two coded ELECTRONIC KEYS opera-
te; otherwise, repeat the above steps.
You can self-learn a amaximum of 4 KEYS.
After the above operations, the lost electronic
keys become useless
.
HOW TO KNOW YOUR “EMERGENCY CODE”
(PIN CODE)
To display the PIN CODE, activate the
self-learning
procedure
and wait 10 seconds for switching OFF the
LED . The immobiliser will use the Red LED for displaying
5 sequences of flashes that will correspond to 5 numbers.
The following table shows an example of a PIN CODE
and the corresponding LED flashes.
On the above example, the PIN CODE to note on the
personal card will be
5 6 0 5 4
. Write down the PIN
CODE after each self-learning procedure, because the
CODE may change every learning procedure. Keep
always in the pocket the personal card, with the PIN
CODE without leaving it in the car.
