(Oreo) or higher is needed for wired
connection.

The following devices support wireless
connection:

Any phone with Android 11.0

A Google or Samsung phone with Android 10.0

A Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, or Note 8,
with Android 9.0

Android Auto comes pre-installed on
Android 10 and above. For older
versions, download the app from the
Google Play Store.

Google periodically updates its software,
and newer versions may bring changes
to Android Auto compatibility or
functionality.
