Backsight

= Backsight

= 1 = Puts instrument in Backsight mode
(display flashes so display angle can be set).
2 = Locks Backsight angle in display so
instrument can be aimed at target.
3 = Locked angle is set as current angle, display
flashes 3 times, and normal operation resumes.
4 = Cancels Backsight operation after a #BS,1 or
#BS,2 command and returns the instrument to
normal operation.

TruPulse Series and TruSpeed Sx Only
Serial commands can be sent to the TruPulse series and TruSpeed Sx via PC, while cabled to the TruAngle.
For example, the $GO command will fire the laser and capture a measurement. Then the laser will download
the serial string into the TruAngle, capture the angle measurement and download the data string to the PC. For
information about additional commands, please refer to the user’s manual that shipped with your laser.
