The Multisound Siren Module is designed to operate with the Siren Amplifier
and the optional Channel Sound Expander. The Multisound Siren Module is
easily installed by plugging the module into the Siren Amplifier. The
designed single tone operation is selected by setting the Rotary Switch to
the corresponding number. An optional Remote Control Cable may be
purchased, which will allow for the remote operation of four of the sound
selections (please see charts below).
HORN OPERATION
Apply power to activate the Audible Horn. Use an insulated screwdriver
when adjusting the volume or selecting a sound tone. A power switch on the
solar panel will enable power to the unit.
ROTARY SWITCH OPERATION
Use the Rotary Switch to select the number corresponding with the desired
single tone. The factory default is S3. Then simply apply power to the Siren
Amplifier. For your safety, ALWAYS turn off the Siren Amplifier during
installation of the Multisound Siren Module or when adjusting the Rotary
Switch.
PROGRAMMABLE TIMER
A programmable timer ensures accurate and automated operation of once
per hour from 6:30AM to 5:30PM. Locate the controller and ensure it is set
to the current time for correct operation.
The timer is located in the solar panel. Follow the steps below to access the
timer:
1.
Place the solar panel on a workbench with the lens facing down.
You will need to remove the back plate.
2.
Use a 3/16” allen wrench to remove all screws securing the back
plate.
3.
Lift the panel lid off revealing the timer and batteries.
Follow the steps below to set your current time.
To set the time:
1.
From the Power up menu press ESC to
navigate to the Main menu.
2.
Scroll down until you see the RTC Set
Option, Press OK.
3.
Once in the RTC Menu press select to
begin adjusting the time.
Pressing Left/Right will change between
year, month, hour, minute. Pressing
up/down will adjust the value.
4.
Once time is set, Press OK and then ESC
to navigate back to the main menu.
Once done, replace the back cover of the solar panel. Ensure it is secure
and replace all screws. Ensure there are no gaps between the back cover to
maintain weatherproofing.
TIMER TROUBLESHOOTING
Should the timer not react
accordingly, access the timer
while energized and view the
status on the LCD screen. It
should appear as

to the main menu (

Scroll down to the RUN option
and press OK then scroll to
YES and press OK.
MAINTENANCE
If the lens or solar panel becomes dirty, wipe down with a mild soap and
