RELAMPING PROCEDURES
WARNING:
Disconnect this fixture from supply circuits before removing globe to avoid
exposing hot surfaces or electric arcing to hazardous atmospheres. Do not re-energize
until the globe has been re- installed. Failure to comply with this warning can cause fire
or explosion which can result in serious injury or death.
1.
Remove globe. Loosen set screw and carefully unscrew screw globe assembly
(counterclockwise) to remove.
2.
Remove lamp and replace.
NOTE:
Verify that the replacement lamp complies with lamp specifications on fixture
nameplate, then install.
3.
To reassemble globe assembly, refer to installation procedure.
REMOTE
This explosion proof assembly includes a pendant-style remote. The remote features three buttons, which are
configured with the following functions: Condition 1 (white button), Condition 2 (red button) and Condition 3/Off (black
button). This remote is
NOT
explosion proof
and must be operated outside of the hazardous location to ensure
safety.
GUARD REMOVAL
Loosen screws around guard and rotate to remove.
FIXTURE CLEANING
Periodic cleaning of the globe assembly may be needed to maintain full lighting efficiency and
to prevent excessive dust or dirt accumulation, which could cause the fixture to operate at a
higher temperature.
Cleaning the fixture components should be done with a non-abrasive solution of soap or
detergent and water. Residual solution should be removed by clean water rinsing.
USE AND CARE
Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or safety of the work light and could affect the life of the
equipment. Always check damaged or worn out parts before using the work light. When work light is not in use, store it in
a secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
