Removing the 7080 Micro Side Cover 

Prerequisites

: 1. Follow the procedure in “Before working inside your computer”. 

Note

: Ensure that you remove the security cable from the security-cable slot (if applicable). 

About this task

: The following images indicate the location of the side cover and show the removal procedure. 

 

 

1. Loosen the thumbscrew (6x32) that secures the side cover to the system. 
2. Slide the side cover towards the front of the system and lift the cover.
