SET DATE
WATER HARDNESS
From this menu item, you can change the current date of the machine, as described in Sec-
tion 2.7. If the machine has not been connected to power for a long time, it will prompt you to
update the date.
Hard water is tap water that has higher amounts of dissolved minerals, like calcium and mag-
nesium, in it. Hard water can cause deposits that impact the performance of your appliance.
