1. INDICAZIONI GENERALI
1.1. Le istruzioni d'uso devono essere sempre disponibili nel luogo d'impiego dell'apparecchio
d'illuminazione
1.2. Le istruzioni d'uso contengono le informazioni per l'installazione e per il funzionamento
dell'apparecchio d'illuminazione.
1.3. Le istruzioni d'uso vanno scrupolosamente seguite in fase d'installazione e in fase di utilizzo.
1.4. Il fissaggio e il collegamento elettrico dell'apparecchio luminoso deve essere effettuato da personale
qualificato.
2. CAMPO D'IMPIEGO
2.1. BASE è un apparecchio di illuminazione a LED ad incasso ed è stato progettato e costruito per
garantire elevati standard di sicurezza rispetto al rischio di scosse elettriche.
2.2. BASE non va posto in luoghi per servizio gravoso.
2.3. BASE non deve essere assolutamente verniciato, non deve essere ricoperto in alcuna parte da
materiali quali colle, silicone, vernici etc...
2.4. BASE DEVE essere esclusivamente utilizzato come apparecchio di illuminazione e non con altri
usi.
3.AVVERTENZE
3.1. La connessione elettrica dell'apparecchio DEVE essere effettuata da personale qualificato e
SOLO DOPO aver tolto tensione all'impianto.
3.2. Nel caso si debba effettuare un collegamento elettrico diverso dalla rete di alimentazione, questo
può essere effettuato solo da personale abilitato alla realizzazione d'impianti elettrici civili in conformità
alle norme vigenti.
L&S non risponde degli eventuali danni alle persone, agli animali domestici e alle cose causati da
operazioni effettuate in modo non conforme alle normi vigenti sul collegamento elettrico da personale
abilitato.
3.3. L'apparecchio di illuminazione NON DEVE essere manomesso in alcun modo, le uniche operazioni
ammesse sono quelle indicate dall'istruzione d'uso
3.4. ATTENZIONE non coprire l'apparecchio con materiali isolanti.
3.5. NON OSSERVARE DIRETTAMENTE CON STRUMENTI OTTICI
4.GAMMA MODELLI
4.1. BASE è fornito in due tonalità di colore: 3200K (LUCE CALDA )e 5000K (LUCE FREDDA)
4.2. BASE è fornito con cavo flessibile esterno montato con attacco z che non può essere sostituito,
se il cavo è danneggiato l'apparecchio deve essere distrutto.

5.1.BASE è completo di cavo per la connessione (lunghezza 2,5mt)

7. LEGENDA SIMBOLI

SMALTIMENTO DEI RIFIUTI
IMBALLI : Sono da considerarsi come rifiuti speciali non tossici e non nocivi tutti i materiali
relativi all’imballo e come tali devono essere smaltiti secondo la normativa vigente.
DEFINIZIONE DI RIFIUTI SPECIALI : I residui derivanti da lavorazioni industriali, attività agricole,
artigianali, commerciali e servizi che, per qualità o quantità non siano dichiarati a ssimilabili ai rifiuti
urbani.

L’apparecchio va considerato come AEE (apparecchiatura elettrica ed elettronica) e come tale deve
essere smaltita.
Il simbolo sottoriportato indica che l’apparecchiatura a fine vita è da considerarsi RAEE (rifiuto di
apparecchiatura elettrica ed elettronica).
Come tale l’apparecchio non può essere smaltito come rifiuto urbano misto ma deve essere conferito
agli appositi centri di raccolta allestiti dalle amministrazioni o dai produttori che provvederanno alla
raccolta separata dei RAEE.
Nel caso di acquisto di un apparecchio nuovo, un apparecchio da smaltire potrà anche essere
consegnato al distributore.
Contattare le amministrazioni competenti o il distributore/produttore per ulteriori informazioni in merito.
La presenza del simbolo RAEE identifica che l’apparecchiatura è stata immessa sul mercato dopo il
13 agosto 2005
Pericoli per l’ambiente: l’apparecchiatura contiene dei materiali e dei componenti potenzialmente
pericolosi per l’ambiente e per la salute umana. Non disperdere i materiali nell’ambiente,
l’inosservanza di tale regola può dare adito a sanzioni da parte delle autorità competenti.
8.INSTALLAZIONE
ATTENZIONE: L'installazione va fatta prima di collegare l'apparecchio alla rete di alimentazione.
8.1. Effettuare sulla superficie la sede per l'icasso del faretto:

8.2.Posizionare il faretto nella sede ed far passare il cavo attraverso la cavità (FIG.1)

ATTENZIONE: I LED ALL’INTERNO DEL FARETTO SONO POSIZIONATI SU UNO DEI QUATTRO
LATI E IN FASE DI INSTALLAZIONE VANNO ORIENTATI DALL’ALTO VERSO IL BASSO.
9.MANUTENZIONE
9.1.I LED all'interno della lampada non sono sostituibili.
In caso di mancato funzionamento, sostituire l'intero apparecchio.
9.2. PULIZIA: Utilizzare assolutamente dei panni asciutti per la polvere.

1. GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
1.1. The instructions for use must always be kept to hand in the place where the light fitting is used.
1.2. The instructions for use contain information regarding installation and operation of the light fitting.
1.3. The instructions for use must be scrupulously complied with during installation and use.
1.4. A qualified electrician must electrically install and fix the light fitting.
2. FIELD OF USE
2.1.BASE is a recessed LED light fitting and has been designed and made to guarantee high safety
standards with regard to risk of electric shock.
2.2 BASE must not be installed in places of constant use.
2.3.BASE under no circumstances must be painted/varnished, coated on any part with materials such
as glues, silicone, paints, etc.
2.4 BASE MUST be used solely as a light fitting and for no other use.
3. WARNINGS
3.1. The electrical connection of the light fitting MUST be carried out by a qualified electrician and ONLY
AFTER having cut off the electricity supply to the system.
3.2. If the appliance has to be connected other than to the mains electricity supply, it may only be done
by an electrician qualified to set up residential and commercial electrical systems in conformity with
current regulations and standards.
L&S cannot be held liable for any injury to persons or pets or damage to property due to work that is
not in conformity with current regulations regarding electrical connection by qualified persons.
3.4. The light fitting MUST NOT be tampered with in any way whatsoever; no operations other than
those indicated in the instructions for use are allowed.
3.5.Do not cover the feeding device with insulating materials

4.2.BASE is supplied with an external flex lead fitted with a Z shaped connector that cannot be replaced;
if the lead is damaged the whole light fitting must be destroyed

WASTE DISPOSAL
PACKAGING: all the packaging materials are to be considered as non-toxic and non-hazardous
special waste and as such must be disposed of in accordance with current legislation.
DEFINITION OF SPECIAL WASTE: residues from industrial processes, agricultural, handicraft and
commercial activities as well as services that, due to quality and quantity, have not been declared as
disposable with municipal waste.
DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL OF THE LIGHTING APPLIANCE
The appliance should be considered as EEE (electrical and electronic equipment) and must be disposed
of as such.
The symbol shown below indicates that at the end of its life the equipment is to be considered WEEE
(waste electrical and electronic equipment).
As such the appliance may not be disposed of as mixed municipal waste, but must be taken to the
special collection centres set up by the local authorities or by the manufacturers, who will arrange for
the separate collection of WEEE.
When purchasing a new appliance, an old appliance to be disposed of may also be handed over to the
distributor.
Contact the competent authorities or the distributor/manufacturer for further information on the matter.
The presence of the WEEE symbol shows that the appliance has been put onto the market after 13
August 2005.
Environmental hazards: the equipment contains materials and parts that are potentially hazardous for
the environment and for human health. Dispose of the materials properly: failure to observe this rule
may lead to sanctions being applied by the competent authorities.
8.INSTALLATION
CAUTION: the light fitting must be installed before it is connected to the mains power supply.
8.1. Make a recess for the spotlight in the supporting surface (FIG. 1).
For installation on metal surfaces thickness 0,6

8.2. Fit the lamp into the recess and pass the power cable through the hole.
8.3. Connect the spotlight to the power supply kit sold separately (FIG. 2).
WARNING: THE LEDS INCLUDED IN THE SPOT LIGHT ARE INSTALLED ON ONE OF THE 4 SIDES
AND FOR A CORRECT INSTALLATION THEY NEED TO BE ORIENTED FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
9.MAINTENANCE
9.1. The LEDs inside the light fitting are not replaceable.
In the event of fault or malfunction, replace the whole appliance.
9.2. CLEANING: Only use dry cloths for dusting.
