Troubleshooting Guide
The Troubleshooting Guide, shown below, is included to
help you quickly locate problems that can happen using
your 2210 Series Weatherproofer I. Follow all safety
precautions stated in the previous sections when making
any adjustments to your machine.

PROBABLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
FIELD NOT LEVEL BEHIND
WEATHERPROOFER. RIDGE AT
CENTER OF SWATH
Frame not level front to rear:
Lower machine to working depth and drive
a short distance. Stop and check if
frame is level. Adjust radius rod as
required to level machine.
Rear disc gangs at too aggressive angle:
Adjust rear disc gangs to a lesser angle.
Rear disc gangs operating too deep:
Raise rear discs to desired depth (3" to 6")
Rear disc gangs too close together:
Loosen u-bolts holding disc gang shanks
to 5 X 3 tube and slide disc gangs out.
FIELD NOT LEVEL, RIDGE AT OUTSIDE
OF SWATH
Frame not level front to rear:
Lower machine to working depth and drive
a short distance. Stop and check if
frame is level. Adjust radius rod as
required to level machine.
Front disc gangs too aggressive an angle
Adjust front gangs to a less aggressive
angle.
Disc gangs operating deeper than
necessary:
Raise front disc gang to operate at desired
depth (3" to 6").
Speed too fast front discs throw soil
beyond reach of rear discs:
Change to slower gear or change front
disc gangs to a lesser angle.

Frame not level front to rear:
Lower machine to working depth and drive
a short distance. Stop and check if
frame is level. Adjust radius rod as
required to level machine.
Disc gangs operating too shallow:
Lower disc gangs to operate at deeper
depth.
