NOTES:
1. Check for fuel leaks. With engine running, visually and audibly check exhaust system for leaks.
2. Perform more often when running under severe operating conditions.
3. Required for initial break-in only.
4. For detailed maintenance, contact an Onan Service Center or refer to the SERVICE MANUAL.
5. Clean carbon more frequently when running under continuous light load and/or on leaded fuel. Use of
Onan 4C carburetor and combustion cleaner is recommended every 200 hours to help reduce carbon
buildup.
WARNING
BREATHING EXHAUST GASES CAN RESULT IN SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY OR
DEATH. DO NOT USE AIR CLEANER, EXHAUST ELBOW, OR CONNECTING PARTS
AS A SUPPORTING STEP. DAMAGE TO THESE AND CONNECTING PARTS CAN
CAUSE AN EXHAUST LEAK.
