Connect gas hose to the regulator inlet and tighten with an
adjustable wrench.See Gas connections section on page 1

Checking for Leaks
a
. Make 2-3 oz. of leak solution by mixing one part
liquid dishwashing soap with three parts water.

. Make sure control knobs are in the
OFF
position.

. Spray some solution on
all fittings, pipe
connections and regulator assembly.

. Inspect the solution at the connections for bubbles.
If no bubbles appear, the connection is secure.

. If bubbles appear, you have a leak. Go to step
f

Disconnect the connections where bubbles appear and
then reconnect.
g
. Retest with solution.
h
. If
“growing” bubbles appear
,
do not use
any more.
