Disconnect Grapple
Refer to Figure 2-1:
on page 22 when parking
the grapple for long periods or at the end of a working
season.
2. Park power machine on a flat, level, solid surface and
lower grapple onto the surface.

hydraulic system pressures before disconnecting
hydraulic hoses from the power machine:

how to release all hydraulic system pressures.
Tractor
Operate all hydraulic control levers back and forth
several times to release all hydraulic system
pressures.

Refer to Figure 1-4 on page 13 or Figure 1-5 on
Disconnect hydraulic hoses (#4 & #5) from
the power machine and store hoses on the grapple.
6. Disengage lock mechanism:
Mechanical Lock Mechanism:
a. Pull lock handles fully up to remove locking pins
from the grapple’s bottom slots.
b. Return to the power machine, start machine, and
continue with step 7 below.
Hydraulic Lock Mechanism:
a. Return to the power machine, start power
machine, and hydraulically disengage quick hitch
locking pins from the grapple’s bottom slots.
b. Continue with step 7 below.

Extend tilt cylinder to rotate top of loader hitch plate
slightly forward.
8. Slowly lower the grapple until the grapple’s top angle
bars and the loader’s hitch plate have separated.
9. Back power machine slowly away from the grapple
while making sure the loader hitch plate does not
interfere with the grapple or the disconnected
hydraulic hoses.
