Maintenance
Proper servicing and adjustments are key to the long life
of any implement. With careful inspection and routine
maintenance, you can avoid costly downtime and repair.
Check all hardware after several hours of operation and
regularly thereafter to ensure they are tight and secured.
Replace worn, damaged, or illegible safety labels by
obtaining new labels from your Land Pride dealer.

To avoid serious injury or death:
Always secure equipment with solid, non-concrete supports
before working under it. Never go under equipment supported
by concrete blocks or hydraulics. Concrete can break,
hydraulic lines can burst, and/or hydraulic controls can be
actuated even when power to hydraulics is off.

To avoid serious injury or death:

Allow only persons to perform maintenance on this
implement who have been properly trained in its safe

Make sure controls are all in neutral position or park before

Always shut tractor down using “Tractor Shutdown
Procedure” provided in this manual before servicing,
adjusting, cleaning, or maintaining this implement.

An unsupported parked tiller can tip over easily. Always
use tiller park stand and when needed, non-concrete
support blocks to prevent the tiller from tipping onto a
person when disconnected from the tractor.

Perform scheduled maintenance. Check for loose
hardware, missing parts, broken parts, structural cracks,
and excessive wear. Make repairs before putting the

Do not alter implement or replace parts on the implement
with other brands. Other brands may not fit properly or
meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
specifications. They can weaken the integrity and impair the
safety, function, performance, and life of the implement.
Replace parts only with genuine OEM parts.

To avoid serious injury or death:
Used tines can be very sharp. Always wear gloves when
handling tines to protect against cuts.
1. Remove the two locknuts and two bolts from the tine
to be replaced. Remove the tine.
2. Attach new tine to the mounting flange making sure
its cutting edge crosses over the mounting flange
and leads in rotation.
3. Replace the removed two bolts and two locknuts.
Tighten locknuts to proper torque. See the
Torque

in on page 33.
