Check Clearances
1.
With rake hitched to a tractor, raise rake off the
ground and angle rake as far as possible toward the
right rear tractor tire. Refer to
“Rake Angling”
on
page 16 for angling instructions.
2.
Offset rake to align end of rake with the tractor’s right
rear tire. Refer to
“Rake Offset”
on page 16 for offset
instructions.
3.
Slowly raise 3-point lift arms fully up and down to
make sure rake does not make contact with tractor
tire, drawbar, and/or any other equipment on the
tractor.
a. Move or remove drawbar if it interferes with rake.
b. Set tractor control lever stop to restrict lifting
height if rake interferes with tractor tire.
4.
Return
“Rake Offset”
and
“Rake Angling”
to center
position.
5.
Angle and offset rake as far as possible toward the
left rear tractor tire and repeat steps 3 through 4 on
the left side of the tractor.
