Safety Alerts
WARNING
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
•
Avoid injury from a falling rake. Always check to make sure
all hardware is secured before adjusting the rake.
•
Do not make contact with the turntable or stick objects into
the turntable holes while adjusting the unit’s angle and/or
offset. Doing so can pinch or shear body extremities and/or
•
Never fully extend or retract hydraulic cylinder(s) without
first checking to make sure the implement does not make
contact with tractor tires. Extending implement into the
tractor tires can result in loss of control and damage to the
Rake Angling
The Landscape Rake can be angled horizontally up to

Read and follow all

2. Pull bent pin (#2) from hole in mainframe.
3. Rotate rake (#1) to the desired angle and reinsert
bent pin (#1).

IMPORTANT:
The implement must be hitched to a
tractor and raised off the ground several inches to
make the following adjustments.

Rake Pitch
The rake pitch (angle the rake teeth enter the ground)
may be adjusted to increase or decrease the rake’s ability
to dig into the soil.

2. Lengthening tractor’s top center 3-Point link
increases rake pitch making the rake more
aggressive on the soil.
3. Shortening tractor’s top center 3-Point link decreases
rake pitch making the rake less aggressive on the
soil.
Rake Tilt
The rake may be tilted so one end is lower than the other.

Read and follow all
2. Adjust one or both of the tractor’s lower 3-Point arms
up or down. Also refer to the tractor’s manual for
instructions to adjust the lower 3-Point arms.
Gauge Wheels (Optional)
1.
On the right side, remove linchpin (#3) from yoke
shaft (#1).
2. Remove gauge wheel (#1) from support arm (#2).
3. Place desired number of spacers (#4 & #5) on yoke
shaft (#1).
4. Reinsert gauge wheel assembly (#1) into support
arm (#2).
5. Place remaining spacers (#4 & #5) on yoke shaft (#1)
above support arm (#2) and reattach linchpin (#3).
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for the left side.
