GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

This fitness kit must be used only when accom-

panied by the instructions given in this manual 
and in the accompanying explanatory videos 
available on our website.

• 

If any parts of the kit are damaged, please 

contact the supplier or his after-sales service for 
a replacement.

• 

N.B. This kit is not suitable for children under 

three years of age. 

• 

This fitness kit is not designed to be used by 

persons, including children, with impaired phy-
sical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons 
who have no experience or knowledge, except 
if a person who is responsible for their safety 
supervises them or has given them instructions 
concerning the use of the kit. Children should 
be supervised so they do not play with the ac-
cessories.

N.B. This kit contains small parts that may cause 

choking or suffocation. Children under 8 years of 
age must therefore be supervised by an adult.

• 

The accessories supplied with this kit are not 

toys. They must be kept out of the reach of child-
ren under 8 years of age and out of the reach of 
animals.

Sports activities are never entirely risk-free. 

Before engaging in any exercise with these ac-
cessories, please consult a health professional and 
take account of your physical condition.

• 

Please follow the safety precautions and advice 

concerning the exercises and the accessories sup-
plied with this kit.

Always do the exercises in a relaxed and 

controlled manner.

• 

Drink plenty of water before, during and after 

the exercises.

• 

If you experience nausea, shortness of breath, 

a headache or a pain in the chest or any similar 
symptoms while using the accessories supplied 
with this kit, stop immediately and call a doctor.

• 

When doing the exercises using the accessories 

supplied with this kit, wear comfortable clothing 
that allows you to move freely. Also, your shoes 
should be non-slip and suitable for fitness exer-
cises.

• 

Do not wear any items (jewellery, belts, 

broaches, buckles, etc.) that could cause physi-
cal injury or could damage the accessories of this 
kit during use.

• 

Make sure you have enough space to do the 

exercises and remove from the area any objects 
that could cause physical injury or could damage 
the accessories supplied with this kit during use.

• 

Make sure you do the exercises on a flat, clean 

and non-slip hard surface. You may find it useful 
to use a yoga mat.

• 

Clean the accessories with a soft cloth and 

lukewarm soapy water. Do not use chemical or 
abrasive cleaners.

> SKIPPING ROPE

General information

The skipping rope is a very versatile accessory 

that allows you to do those all-important cardio 
exercises that burn off calories and increase your 
physical endurance. Skipping also helps you tone 
your body by allowing you to use not only your 
lower body muscles but also your arms, shoul-
ders, back and abdominals. Lastly, it can help you 
improve your balance and coordination.

User precautions

• 

When skipping, avoid arching your back by 

contracting your abdominal muscles and adjus-
ting your pelvis. This protects your lower back and 
prevents injuries. Also, trainers should be worn to 
cushion against shock.

• 

How long should the rope be? 

Stand with one foot in the middle of the rope. Lift 
the handles vertically in line with your body. For 

beginners and for easier skipping, the handles 
should come up to shoulder level. More advanced 
users may prefer to keep the rope shorter, perhaps 
around the level of the belly button.

• 

How do you adjust the skipping rope? 

Turn the end of the handle to adjust the length of 

the rope. Place the adjustment clip at the desired 
level and cut off any excess length of rope or wind 
it inside the handle.
