INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the «Pretty Nails» nail dryer from LANAFORM®. The round shape and reflective
interior is designed to evenly dry your fingernails and your toenails. It also has a detachable lower tray so
that you can easily clean and quickly replace the fluorescent tubes. The «timer» and «ventilation» functions
guarantee a perfect manicure.

PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR DEVICE, ESPECIALLY THIS BASIC SAFETY

INFORMATION:

• This device is not intended for use by people, including children, with limited physical, sensory or mental

abilities, or by people lacking experience or knowledge, unless they have been supervised or instructed
beforehand on how to use the device by someone responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to make sure they do not play with the device.

•  Only use this device following the instructions given in this manual.
•  Check that your mains voltage is the same as that of your device.
•  Always place the nail dryer on a hard, flat, horizontal surface. Keep it away from heat sources such as stoves,

radiators, etc.

•  Do not leave the device in direct sunlight.
•  Do not connect or disconnect the plug or electrical transformer of the device with wet hands.
•  If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a similar cord available from the supplier or the

latter’s after-sales department.

• Unplug the device before cleaning it.
• Do not wash the entire unit with water and do not immerse it in water. Consult the cleaning instructions in

this manual.

• Unplug a device that has fallen into water immediately before retrieving it.
• An electrical device must never remain plugged in without supervision. Disconnect it when you are not

using it.

• Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
• Never use this device in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room or where oxygen is

being administered.

•  Do not put items of clothing or towels under or on top of the device.
•  This nail dryer is designed for domestic use only.
•  Do not use this device without medical advice in the following cases: if you are pregnant, if you are allergic

to UV radiation, if your skin has any scars, tattoos or beauty spots, if you have skin cancer, if you have any
unusual skin discolouring, if you are taking any medicine or if you are photosensitive. If you are unsure,
consult your doctor before using «Pretty Nails».

• Do not look at the UV lamp directly.
• Excessive exposure to UV rays can cause sunburn. Over-frequent exposure to UV rays causes skin ageing and

increases the risk of skin cancer.

• If you experience any pain when using this device, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.
• This device is not intended for use by persons having more than 16 moles (2mm or more in diamter) on the

body ; persons having any atypical moles (atypical moles are defined as asymmetrical moles larger than 5mm
in diameter with variable pigmentation and irregular borders; in case of doubt, seek medical advice); persons
that burn easily when exposed to the sun; persons having a first-degree relative with a history of melanoma.
