Functional Description with Process Diagrams
In the described configuration a switched OFF channel drops below its lower range limit with-
out the additional measures listed above.
The range limits are automatically defined and extended by programming the curve range of
the active channels in the curve set. In this process, the actuator is switched ON. The feed-
back of the switched ON and supplied actuator is higher than the actuator in switched OFF
state.
Scaling
When scaling the feedback by parameter ’AEC-VS, configuration of the lower / upper range’
the following must be observed:
•
The actual rpm range must be covered by the values.
•
The feedback set points must be below or at most on the set point curve.
•
The values must increase over the entire firing rate range.
Rule of distance
When adjusting continuous channels, make sure that the minimum feedback set point does
not fall below the minimum distance of 0 and the maximum feedback set point does not fall
below the minimum distance of 999. This minimum distance is calculated from the width of the
B-band of the corresponding direction.
5.3.5.2 Actuators with TPS Control
Scaling
When scaling the feedback by parameter 'AEC-TPS configuration lower / upper range', make
sure that the values increase over the entire firing rate range.
Installation of the Potentiometers
When mounting the potentiometers ensure that the angle range of the potentiometer used
does not exceed the limits of 0.7 % or 96 % of the mechanical potentiometer angle range.
5.3.6
Logical Actuator Channels
Channel functions
Logical channels that are to be controlled by the CMS electronic ratio control must be config-
ured with a channel function. Parameter value >0.
Flue gas channels
In opposite to existing products, flue gas ducts no longer show any special behaviour at the
ignition point.
If the flue gas duct shall open at the ignition point or remain in the OPEN position, the ignition
point must be programmed to this.
The pre-purge position is not driven bypassing the ignition point.
Liquid gas
If the fuel channels for LPG are to remain CLOSED until ignition, the pre-purge point for these
channels must be programmed accordingly (lower range limit).
