If it is necessary to use an extension
cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord.
•
A short power-supply cord is provided
to reduce the risks resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping
over a longer cord.
If a long cord set or extension cord
is used:
•
The marked electrical rating of the
cord set or extension cord should
be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
The extension cord must be a
grounded-type 3-wire cord.

The long cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the counter
top or tabletop where it can be pulled
on by children or tripped over.
Safety in use
Use oven gloves when placing or
removing cookware.
Do not operate the appliance when
it is empty.
The appliance and its accessible
parts may become hot during
use.
Take care when removing or
installing accessories.
If the microwave is mounted at
height, take care removing hot
cookware, especially with liquids.
Open the door carefully. Use of
ingredients containing alcohol
can come into contact with hot
surfaces or mix with air and ignite.
Take care when opening the door,
hot air / steam may be released.
Do not operate the appliance
with wet hands or if it has been in
contact with water.
Do not put flammable products or
items that are wet, in or near the
microwave.
Ensure ventilation openings are
clear from blockage.
Set the timer to 0 after each
use to prevent the microwave
operating when empty.

Do not use the microwave function to
pre-heat the oven.
•
Do not leave the appliance
unattended during operation.
•
Do not put pressure on the appliance
door when it is open.
•
Do not let sparks / open flames come
in contact with the microwave when
you open the door.
•
Do not put aluminium foil directly
under the appliance.
•
Do not put water directly into the hot
appliance.
