Operating Instructions
Data Logger PreLOG (15190)
7 Functions
7.1 Pulse
Registration
Integrated debouncing of the pulse signal of a reed contact
•
Integrated precipitation correction of the recorded pulses, respectively linearisation of the precipitation signal
•
of LAMBRECHT precipitation sensors
Pulse output (OC, not galv. isolated) for uncorrected transmission of the input signal. At a resolution factor
•
≥
0.1* the length of the returned pulse is 125 ms. At a resolution factor < 0.1 the pulse length will be reduced
to 10 ms.
7.2 Recording
Recording of precipitation pulses with timestamp
•
Recording of precipitation amount in selectable time intervals
•
Recording of precipitation amount between retrievals
•
Recording of precipitation amount since switch on of the device
•
7.3
Alarm / Event Message
Event message at start of precipitation
•
Event message at end of precipitation
•
Event message at exceeding of a max. precipitation amount since last retrieval or message
•
Event message at exceeding of a max. precipitation amount as moving sum of a speci
fi
ed period (with
•
hysteresis)
Event message at exceeding of a max. precipitation intensity (with hysteresis)
•
7.4 Data
Output
Recorded measured values (no zero values)
•
Data retrieval of the recorded values with timestamp to a CSV
fi
le or MeteoWare Rain database with the
programs:
PreLOG-Commander (USB / GSM-Mode)
◦
MeteoWare Rain (USB / GSM- / GPRS-Mode)
◦

Connecting pulse output - Open Collector
(OC)
The PreLOG comes with an Open Collector output which
can be used to forward the recorded pulses for example to
a programmable logic controller (PLC). See also „Pin As-
signment M12 Connector, 8-Pin“.
Remark:
The PreLOG ECO has no OC output.
