GAS TYPE CONVERSION
The
ERA 31 BS 60
boilers are supplied for operation with methane gas.
If they are to be used with LPG, order the relevant conversion kit from methane gas to LPG.

Conversion from Methane to LPG:
Conversion from LPG to Methane:
-
Replace the burner jets.
-
Adjust the burner pressure according to what indicated in the technical data table.

Seal the pressure adjusting screw .
-
Stick the label “Boiler adjusted to METHANE” on the existing one.

Remove the burner cover (27).
-
Replace the burner jets according to the technical data
table.
-
Unloose the two nuts of the stud bolts fixing the burner
unit (25).
-
Unscrew the 4 screws fixing the valve to the gas feeding
pipe.
-
Move valve and burner ad forward as possible.
-
Screw the diaphragm supplied in the LPG conversion
kit on the free thread upstream of the gas valve.

Place valve and burner into position and fix the two
stud bolts to fasten the burner unit.

Assemble the burner cover again (27) and the two pipe
leads (30-31).

Screw the 4 screws fixing the valve to the gas feeding
pipe.

Check the seal of this junction using a manometer.
-
Exclude the pressure reducer by screwing it tight. Check
the upstream pressure through the pressure intake
mounted on the gas feeding pipe and adjust the plant
pressure reducers so as to have the pressure indicated
in the technical data table.

Check that pressure to the burner corresponds to what
indicated in the technical data table.

Seal the pressure regulator.

Stick the label “Boiler adjusted to LPG” on the existing
one.
