2.4 Gas connection
The gas must be connected to the relevant connection (see cap. 4.1 "Dimensions and connections") in conformity with
the current standards, using a rigid metal pipe or a continuous surface flexible s/steel tube and installing a gas cock
between the system and boiler. Make sure all the gas connections are tight.
2.5 Electrical connections

BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY OPERATION REQUIRING REMOVAL OF THE
CASING, DISCONNECT THE BOILER FROM THE ELECTRIC MAINS WITH
THE MAIN SWITCH.
NEVER TOUCH THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OR CONTACTS WITH THE
MAIN SWITCH TURNED ON! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK WITH RISK OF
INJURY OR DEATH!

The unit must be connected to an efficient grounding system in accordance with ap-
plicable safety regulations. Have the efficiency and suitability of the grounding sys-
tem checked by professionally qualified personnel; the Manufacturer declines any
liability for damage caused by failure to ground the system.
The boiler is pre-wired and equipped with a three-core connection cable to the
electric line without plug. The connections to the grid must be made with a perma-
nent connection and equipped with a bipolar switch with contact opening of at least
3 mm, interposing fuses of max. 3A between the boiler and line. Make sure to re-
spect the polarities (LINE: brown wire / NEUTRAL: blue wire / GROUND: yellow-
green wire) in the connections to the electric line.

If the cable
gets damaged, turn the unit off and have the cable replaced only by profes-
sionally qualified personnel.
In case of replacement, use exclusively

VV-F”
3x0.75 mm2 cable with maximum ext. diameter of 8 mm.
Room thermostat (optional)

IMPORTANT: THE ROOM THERMOSTAT MUST HAVE VOLTAGE-FREE CON-
TACTS. CONNECTING 230 V TO THE ROOM THERMOSTAT TERMINALS
WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE ELECTRONIC BOARD.
When connecting time controls or a timer, do not take the power supply for these
devices from their breaking contacts Their power supply must be by means of di-
rect connection from the mains or with batteries, depending on the kind of device.
