INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• When using the Electrical Carving Knife for the first time you may notice a slight burning
smell. This is normal for a new heating element and will disappear after a few uses.
• Place the food to be cut on a dry, level chopping board surface.
•
CAUTION:
The blades are very sharp. Care must be taken when handling the blades.
• Plug in and switch on at the socket. Hold the main unit by the handle. Place the Electric
Carving Knife directly on the food to be cut.
• Press the safety power ON button and the blades will begin to slice.
• When you have finished cutting, to stop the Electric Carving Knife, release your finger
from the safety power ON button and the knife will stop working.
•
DO NOT operate with wet hands.
• Use the carving knife in short bursts and
DO NOT
operate continuously for more than 2
minutes.
• Unplug from electrical socket before you remove the cutting blades.
HINTS AND TIPS
•
DO NOT
use the carving knife to cut frozen food.
•
DO NOT
use the carving knife to cut very hard food products, such as bones, shelled
nuts, frozen meats etc., as this could damage the blade and cause the motor to seize.
