A GUIDE TO INGREDIENTS
• Different milks, for example UHT/Long life, fresh- semi skimmed and whole milk will all froth to
different levels so you may need to reduce the amount of milk you use.
• The frother works well with several non- dairy milks including almond, oat and soya milks
• Semi-skimmed milk often gives the best results for frothing
• Add your other ingredients (for example, coffee, drinking chocolate and sugar) to your mug
and pour the warmed milk on top of them. Do not put the additions into the frother as the
sugars may cause it to over heat.
USING YOUR MILK FROTHER
• The whisk is made up of a paddle with a coil that fits around the outside of the paddle. This
coil can be removed and clipped back into place easily. It can be stored under the base.
• Using the paddle alone will mean the milk is simply heated and not frothed.
• Select the paddle or whisk and clip it into place, in the centre of the jug
• Add your milk to the milk frother.
-
To create frothed milk (using the whisk)
fill the frother up to the lower fill
marking – 150 mls max
-
To create simply hot milk (using the paddle),
fill the frother up to the higher fill
marking – 300 mls max
• Press the power button. It will light up red and beep once while it heats. Once the frother has
heated and frothed the milk it will switch off, and make two short beeps.
• Add the milk to your mug, making sure any other ingredients is already in the mug. Stir well
and serve
HINTS & TIPS
• Only heat milk in the frother. Other ingredients, such as drinking chocolate, coffee or sugar can
be placed in the mug and then the milk can be poured over the top.
• Certain types of milk, for example long life, can froth more than others, so your milk may leak
out - reduce the amount of this milk next time you heat it.
