Operation
The following sections explain the more advanced features of the
F71/F41 teslameter. To find these settings, tap the Settings menu (top left corner of
the screen) to access the navigation drawer, then select an option.
3.5.1 Sensor
Information
The Sensor Information tab provides general information about the probe.

Sensor Information
Item
Description
Magnitude
The current magnitude reading.
Model number
The probe model number.
Serial number
The unique identifier for this specific probe assigned during manufacturing.
Probe type (Construction)
Information about the mechanical design of the probe.
Sensor type (Family/Variant)
The material family of the sensor.
Sensor orientation
The direction the sensor is facing, relative to the stem.
Sensitivity
Nominal sensitivity of the Hall sensor(s) in the probe at the probe’s operating exci-
tation current.
Thermistor present
Indicates whether there is a temperature sensor in the tip of the connected probe.
Probe temperature reading
Displays the current temperature of the probe, in °C.
Probe calibration data
Indicates whether the sensor data is fixed or able to be set by the user.
Last calibration date
The date and time the probe was last calibrated successfully at Lake Shore.
